Where to buy LED tails

Not sure on that. It's been awhile since I took mine. Does the plug itself have metal contacts on it? Do your reverse lights work with your old tail lights? Have you checked fuses or put a volt meter on it? Just some thoughts. Hope you get it figured out.

I ended up going to am-autoparts actual website. They had the set for sale $151. I found a 5% off coupon and got a set of LED tails for $143.50!!

Thanks for the recommendation! So excited to ditch my pink taillights. Next step - 06-09 limited wheels. Why the 03-05 Limited wheels are the same as the SR5 I don't understand.

Agreed! I don't think I'll be getting to that item any time soon now that I just had to get new tires this week though. Maybe paint my wheels in gunmetal grey? It's only a matter of time until I just get completely sick of them.

Update: You get what you pay for. Reverse lights weren't working. i took the tail lights out again and played with the bulbs to make sure everything was in correctly. turns out the aftermarket Eagle Eye brand tail lights do not fit the reverse bulbs perfectly. There is a lot of play in the reverse socket so the bulb can easily "fall down" and the metal contacts won't line up anymore, hence my lack of reverse lights. I got them both to work but just from reinstalling the tail lights the bulbs shifted again. Rather than try to rig something up to work, I pulled both tails out and put my stock ones back in. I'm returning my aftermarket LEDs and will scour the earth for cheap OEM LEDs. I loved the way it looked with the LEDs, but the deal was too good to be true. hwell:

I had this issue. I played with the bulb holder and modified the plastic housing till the contacts touched and dropped silly cone on it. No issues since, light output comparable to OEM.

Yea, I knew I could fix it, but figured if something as basic as this was wrong with it now, who knows how long the tails will last. If something goes wrong a year from now I doubt the aftermarket place I got it from would do anythign about it and I'd be out at least another $150 to get new ones. I'd rather just spend $300 on new OEM ones.

Fair enough. I would have gone OEM but I wanted the black housings
