Where to buy TRD OR Black Overlays

I have seen many different places that sell the overalays ranging from 100-150. What ones do you recommend and from who?

I picked them up directly from Toyota for the TRD ORP. Quality was solid and was able to get them on sale (15% off) a few weeks ago.

I got mine last month from Runnin4tacos for $81 shipped. I just checked and the price has gone up a little bit, but I think it's still worth it. The fit and finish is pretty solid.
 
I irdered from somewhere and they never showed up so I platidipped them. the overlays showed up 2 days later and they are sitting in the garage.
 
For cartrimhome it depends where they come from if their US warehouse has them in stock it will come from there. If not it will come from overseas. It’s free shipping from either place.
 
I purchased OEM ones on eBay. They were $45 for the emblems front and rear plus the 4Runner lettering on the rear hatch.
 
Are you dead set on overlays? I just recently dipped my badges and for 6 bucks I can't complain and feel they do the same job. Since the overlays aren't glossy either it works out. You can even add some glossifer to make it satin
 
Lots of folks de-badge their rigs, no need to advertise its trim. Makes it a lot easier to wash and wax without fiddling with a plastic chunk on the side.

That said, I bought a complete overlay set a few years ago, just interested in the sombrero logo, from an online Toyota dealer for $80. Now I see they’re about $115. Your best bet is to try eBay. Like this one

I might just de badge mine, do you just like use a credit card or something? I bought from cartrimhome but the set was missing the trd pieces and their customer service doesn't respond

It’s pretty easy. Do this on a warm sunny day or warm up the badge with a hairdryer. Use thin monofilament fishing line or dental floss and work it under the badge starting at the top. Slowly saw through the double sided tape downward. Heat up the badge again as needed. The badge will come off and leave some sticky tape/glue residue on the paint. Pull off what you can with a fingernail then clean it up with a soft rag and solvent like goo-gone or white gas (Coleman camping fuel). Follow that with another wipe down of the area with isopropyl alcohol to get it squeaky clean, then wax and polish the area.
