Where to buy Tundra TRD coils?

I've spent hours looking at different combos and searching the forum. I've decided to go with Tundra 5100s and TRD tundra coils for the front lift. I thought the coils would be as easy as getting on a toyota dealers website and ordering. WRONG! When i put in these part numbers in a toyota parts dealers search, multiple options are shown.

Left Coil Part Number: 48131-AF100
Right Coil Part Number: 48131-AF090

I know I need yellow/yellow and yellow/blue springs but don't know which exact year/truck that combo was for. If anybody can point me in the right direction, i'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Not sure why you need the Make and Model. These sites allow you to put the # in and order the part. On the Camelback Toyota site you can see all the trucks the springs fit on.

I know it seemed like a stupid question, since I had the specific part number. I usually buy my oem Toyota parts from Sparks Toyota, and when I enter those part numbers in their search, multiple trucks come up. For instance, it shows me the same part number for a base v6 2wd truck, as it does a TRD v8 4x4. You always see these coils referred to as TRD coils so I thought there may be different paint codes within the same part number. Check this link, you'll see what I mean.

Yep, that looks just like the Camelback Toyota link I posted. The part# defines the part. It was used on every one of those trucks listed. You've got the part #'s just order them up. By the way there really is no stupid questions when you're spending $300+
Good luck with your lift. I have the same one with OME 890s in the rear and love it. You won't be disappointed.

Went ahead and ordered those part numbers. Ive got tundra 5100's front and rear and I've got 890's coming for the rear. U running tundra 5100's or taco 5100's in the front? What notch do you run your perches on in front? I was thinking of running 1 notch above the lowest setting, and 890s plus 10mm trim packers in the rear. Thanks for all your help!

I took the prices from the Toyota Direct and went to my dealer. He matched the prices and did not argue.

I found Genuine OEM parts prices catalog pretty useful to find oem parts. It listed pricing from a bunch of other websites and was able to get my trd coils for $126 each.

Sounds like your thinking of 906s in the rear if you're going to use trim packers in the rear. Definitely don't need trim packers with 890s.
I have tundra 5100 all around. 2nd perch in front. About 1/2" of rake. Don't forget to get the right size lower bushings for the rear.

I may go ahead and put it on the 3rd perch in the front and run the 10mm trim packers. If the ride is too harsh, I can always drop it back down later. Wheelers Offroad now carries the Tundra rear 5100s with the proper .75" bushings already installed, so that's what I went with. Went ahead and ordered diff drop and panhard drop too. I've got a set of split 5 sequoia wheels with 285/70/17 Cooper STT's I'll be bolting on same day as the lift. I understand I may need to do some cutting or hammer the pinch welds to run the 285's, but I'm not worried about it. As of now, D-day is next Thursday, if all goes as planned. I'll update this thread with a pic or 2 when I get done. Thanks everybody.

How has this lift turned out for you? I’m toying around with the idea of doing this lift, but since more and more time has passed since our trucks were built, it seems like the parts are getting more and more expensive. I can’t decide if it’s worth it at all.

The ride is very comfortable, as I also put new coil springs and shocks on the back, at the same time. I purchased the Tundra stuff, through my local dealer, using the prices given in Toyota direct and the rear shocks and Old Man Emu springs came from Wheelers Offroad.

So, forgive my ignorance, pretty new to this. Toyota Direct? When I search now for parts from Toyota, they want over $200 a pop for each coil!

The Tundra/LC lift with Tundra 5100's @ all 4 corners is the smoothest ride you can put on a 4runner. I had the 4th gen 4runner 5100's in the back & switched to the Tundra's & the ride is much better. I was lovin' my truck today hitting pot holes & RR tracks, smooth as silk.

Does anyone know where to get these springs for a cheaper price? Seems like everywhere I look they're 190 a spring. I have all the other parts for the lift just waiting on front tundra springs.

Ridiculous, huh. I finally abandoned my goal to do this lift because it just doesn't make financial sense anymore. I'm thinking that this was really popular back when you could buy the set for like $200-250. Instead of dropping $400+ on two coils!
