Which Dashcam To Buy?

the G1W has had decent reviews for under $100 dash cams for day use. if you want good night time video, your going to have to jump into the $200-300 range. since most of my driving is during night time, i need something with very good night time video capture.

The Mini 0801 seems to be the best value for around $100.
GPS, Removable, Wide FOV, 1080p.
Video sums it up nice.

A bit of a revival, but has anyone thought of or used a go pro as a dash cam? I was thinking of looking into that as an option so I could use it for other purposes as well.
