No. You can run one or the other. Keep in mind the ext. travel just has a shorter internal limiter allowing the shock to extend further over the stock travel numbers. Its ruffly 7/8" more. However the ONLY way to get this added travel with out hurting your truck is to run aftermarket UCA's. (Upper Control Arms). ICON offers the Billet and the tubular UCA's, however TC makes a good set and the Light Racing ones are great for a budget. (and on sale at MT right now, $375 w/ free shipping in the lower 48.
For the ICON gear Metal-tech 4x4 does free shipping in the lower 48. However we don't forget about our Canadian friends and discount the shipping into Canada by what it would cost to ship in the lower 48. This is usually about $50 for a Stage One kit, so we discount the shipping into Canada by that much. All ICON kits from Metal-tech 4x4 also include a free Racetec spanner wrench and a professional ball tipped T handle Allen wrench for setting the preload on your truck. ($50 value for both)
OLW is selling the Radflo gear, Metal-tech 4x4 is also a Radflo dealer in fact Radflo is what is going on our Gen V right now. The 2.5" Radflo's are very much like the ICON equipment in quality and performance. Of course each company would argue why theirs is better, but honestly they are both real good. More importantly both companies are real good. (service post sale) Lately Radflo has be shipping quite a bit faster than ICON, thats about the only difference. Give us a call at Metal-tech 4x4 we can help you with both kits. (Free shipping in the lower 48 and discounted into Canada too for Radflo)
