Which Leveling Kit 2012 SR5

I'm ordering a 2012 SR5 Premium package this weekend and am working to package the deal with rims/tires and a leveling kit. Trying to maintain some of the power so not going too big on tires. That said, what is the preferred leveling kit? I do moderate off-roading but this is by far going to be a daily driver.

I went with the Toytec spacer kit - 1.5 in the back and 2 in the front...I still wanted some rake since I travel a lot with gear in the back weighing down a bit. Drives great...

As Harper mentioned the Daystar 2.5 inch kit is pretty easy and reasonably priced. This is the direction I went and I am pleased.

I gained 2.5 inches in the front and 1 inch in the rear of lift and the truck sits level.

One reason I went with this kit was the fact that the spacers sit on top of the front strut so the spring is not preloaded, which can make the ride a little harsher. I stuck with the stock tire size (265/70/17) as well to minimize the hit to my MPGs.

I went with the Readylift spacer kit as it is 3 inches up front and 2 in the rear, and came with a diff drop and skid plate spacers. I installed it on my Limited with no issues.

Yeah I did it myself, and then took it to have it aligned. It was about 3.5 hours of work and all you need is normal hand tools. I would imagine (guess) a shop would charge about 3 hours of labor plus the alignment.

Reviving this thread...... can anyone fill me in on a comparison between the readylift kit and daystar kit? At 3 times the cost, is the readylift kit that much better (or better at all)? I am also running a 13' LE and for now am planning on keeping the stock XREAS suspension. I'm looking to gain a little more ground clearance and have a better stance.

I'm hoping someone can chime in and make my decision making easier. And I understand Icon etc is much better but I am not going to go that route for now so please just guide me on what spacer kit I should get from your experience. Thanks

If you're set on spacer lifts, just get something cheap like Daystar. There is no reason to spend more than $100 for anything more - they're all the same thing. Some others will try to sell you the benefits on not using some type of poly/resin material, but it won't matter in the real world.
