Which Leveling Kit 2012 SR5

I'm getting ready to do this very soon. I have the Daystar kit and rear shocks (Bilsteins). Should I get coils too? I'm in a 2WD 2012 and just doing this for looks as well as I like the ride at the taller height. I had an 04' Tacoma that rode on Icon Stage one and loved it. I just don't wanna spend the money to do that again since I no longer have a vehicle with 4WD. I'm just waiting on the next payday so I can purcahse the front (adjustable Bilsteins). I found someone local to do the labor as I'm not experienced to do it myself. I wanna ride on 33's. I have a few estimates on the tires too. I'll post before/after pictures in about a month when completed.

Today I ordered the Daystar 2.5" lift kit, at the recommendation of my suspension mechanic. I told him I didn't want to go up to 3" AND I didn't want to add stiffer springs that would harshen the highway ride (like my neighbor's FJ with an 2.x" OME lift).

I called Daystar and confirmed that the spacer for the rear is actually 1.5", not 2.5". That's fine with me as the kit will level my truck too. I found the spacer set--part # KT09133BK--on eBay for $146.00 with free shipping, which is a pretty good deal. The neighbor spent $1400.00 on his OME lift.

This ought to allow me to miss fewer rocks with my RCI skid plate, which reduced the ground clearance to 7.5" to clear the KDSS. That skid plate has taken over 20 solid hits since I installed it, and all it has to show is a few scratches.

Vegas: Good luck finding front 5100 Bilsteins. They have been back-ordered for months from everybody. Maybe in September?

If you're set on spacer lifts, just get something cheap like Daystar. There is no reason to spend more than $100 for anything more - they're all the same thing. Some others will try to sell you the benefits on not using some type of poly/resin material, but it won't matter in the real world.
