Which ome springs for the v8 in the rear?

Should I get the 895 or the heavy duty 896's sprinds for the rear?
I guess the 885's are recomended for the v8 in the front over the 884's

Also what are my tire options with no rubbing. Does a 265/70/17 look alright or does it look to narrow? This is what I would prefer. Should I go to a 275 width?

I'm about to order from slee offroad. Have you all had good experiances with them?

Is $725 a competitive price for what the kit is going for at the moment?

I don't recommend the 896 coils as they are too stiff for the average user. I would instead recommend the 895's. Now if you plan to have a full load an expect to have atleast a good 300# of weight in the back then the 896's will come in handy but once it's empty the ride will be VERY harsh.

275's would be a nice touch to the OME's that you plan to get. There may be some minor rubbing.

Hmm.. About half the time I have a 500lb tool box in the back but the rest of the time it is ussually emply or occupied by fishing gear and or my dogs.....

Does anyone have any picsture of an ome lift with 265/70/17s on it?

Here ya go! Goodyear ATS's - great tires -so good I don't carry a spare. Perfect size - only a slight drop in MPG, can't tell much loss of power. I think it you go 285 you may see some more loss and not much gain off road. You can see I have the KTM on the back, Thats a good 300#'s including the hauler. I run a set of air bags in the rear coils to avoid the sag. You can see it's pretty level. Before them the lights were in the trees under load. Great $100 mod. I also have the Revteck 3 inch coil spacers. Hope this helps.

How's your ride when it's empty? Has it turned harsh?
The Revteks are 3" front and 3" rear, right?

Not harsh at all. I take most the air out of the springs when unloaded. If you run unloaded with anything more than 15psi tils like a rigid. The lift had no difference - just about like stock.
