Which stock tire to get on SR5

Looking at non premium SR5. I searched and found a lot of suggestions for replacing the stock tires but I will run them for a year or two before upgrading. If I can choose - which is a better choice - Bridgestone or Dunlop. I live in Texas so snow is not a big deal..

Personally if you have to pick one of the ones you mentioned, I would go with the Bridgestone. But I have had great luck with the Firestone Destination LE 2 all season tire that I run as my summer tire.

I put that on my third gen a few years ago and loved it. I just have a problem with buying a new truck and tossing the tires in the first week. Planning to add leather so the budget is getting full without adding new tires

I will be going with Michelin Defender LTX once my Bridgestones are down to 5/32". I have had very consistent performance and durability from Michelin tires.

The best thing to do is see if you can work the tires you want into the purchase deal with an appropriate credit for the stock tires. Or you can always sell the stockers on CL. Other than that, pick the ones that come on the vehicle with the best purchase deal.

The stock Bridgestones have been fine for me, though I will probably also change them out for Michelin Defender LTXs when they've worn out. I live in a relatively rural area in the Northeast, and experience inclement weather, rutted roads, etc. I'm pretty conscious about HOW I drive in certain conditions, however. At 15,000 mi, I have 9/32" tread remaining. Many people change them out immediately because they want a more aggressive looking tire, though admittedly there are a good deal of folks on here needing different tires for purpose built vehicles.

Well Nike of course :boxing: I couldn't wait for some Coopers so bought some Brig revos 2 been very impressed with in all conditions ! No flat spots after sitting like some !! Rain , snow , oil slick Vegas streets !
