Which Weathertech for cargo area?

I'm removing the slide-out tray in my TE and will be building a low profile cargo box in it's place (same height). It will run wheel well to wheel well and from the back of the rear seats (no 3rd row seats) to the lift-gate. It will not go into the recess area behind the wheel well so those areas will be about 3" lower than the rest of the cargo area (even with the lip of the cargo area).

I want to get a WeatherTech liner for the cargo area that covers the rectangular area on top of the storage box I'm building. I think this is probably the one for an SR5 but would like to hear from someone that has one and maybe see a couple of pictures so I can make sure it will fit nicely.

Any other options would be appreciated as well

The weather tech is form fitting and probably not what u are looking for. I got weather techs up front but for the cargo area I got the maxliner tray
It's just a rectangle that covers all area between wheel wells and from 2nd row to lift gate. Got it from auto anything

If I am understanding your plan correctly, it sounds like the cargo box would be pretty much the same size as the sliding tray it replaces, so would something like this fit the bill?

Although, last I checked only Husky was making this type cargo liner, not sure if Weathertech started making it yet.

I want to do both. Carpet to give it a factory look and feel, liner for durability and to make cleanup easier.

I have the Canvasback Cargo liner. I like it alot. It would also cover the back of your seats in case the cargo box rubbed up against them. All you would need is some velcro tape to stick on top of the cargo box.
