Which Wheels?

I'm getting the itch to replace my Trail Edition wheels - thoughts on either of the two attached?

I prefer the look of the TRD wheel but some are undecided due to the fact that they only come in 7" widths.

If you want the TRD wheels but wider you can go with the FN wheels FX Pro. Probably have to contact Dustin at FN Wheels as I do not see them listed on their site.

This. If you want a TRD type wheel then it makes sense to go with the FN version. More finish option and a full 1" gain in width.

200% agree! Love my FN f(x) Pro wheels! Great fitment, love the matte bronze color (for my 4R TEP) and for the $, the best deal I found. :)

I'd look around a bit more for other options. First choice looks like they belong on a small car and the TRD's are just played out. Everybody and their wives have them their 4Runners.
 
I'm contemplating keeping my Trail wheels since one day they will be as obscure as the Rallye wheels on my Scout. Swapped out at a young age and lost/misplaced over time. In 10 years it might be impossible to find a nicely modified TEP with its original wheels. :thumb3:
 
I chose the matte grey because I haven't seen a lot of people with them, but maybe I haven't looked enough. Still very happy with my choice and for what I'm going to do the 7" wheel will definitely do the job; mostly daily driver with some camping trips and day trips to the mountains. I paired then with the 265 KO2s.
