I am not happy with the sound in my JBL System in my 03 4Runner. Mainly I hate the way almost all the sound comes out of the middle speaker and just making adjustments to go more rear and less middle makes it sound a little better, but not good enough.
Thinking of buying everything I need from Crutchfield to change the head unit and get the wiring harness and the steering wheel control interface. Everything would total $479 which is a good bit to spend unless it really makes a significant improvement. The guy from Crutchfield was not sure it would fix the center problem because I would still be using the factory amp.
My other option might be the Scion T1809 which I see on E-Bay for about $150.
