White Knuckle Sliders compatible with RCI skids
To reference earlier posts, I had John move the center mounting leg 3.5" rearward so that it would accomodate the RCI transfer case skid without modification. Finally following up with the pictures....better late than never.
The top plates are a great option btw. Not only do they make rooftop access easier but they're also great if you've had to remove the mudflaps. They keep a good bit of rocks, mud, snow, etc off the body while on the trails.
One word of advice when installing these - get the nuts on loosely and then jump up and down on each slider to make sure they shift away from the body. Then snug them up. I know there are folks who grimace at the fact they mount with U bolts. But they're plenty strong and then some.

Thank you. I haven't decided yet but I think I'm going to remove the "white knuckle offroad" markings since I generally prefer a clean, stealthy look. They're just stickers. The sliders themselves are very high quality and John from White Knuckle was easy to work with and communicative.

BTW, I found it made it easier to get the driver side, rearmost U-bolt into position by first removing the fuel tank skid plate. It gives you just a little bit of extra room and visibility. That was the trickiest part of the installation. The passenger side went on easily.

I did.. nobody took me up on my free beer offer!
I think I need to re - seat or re-torque the U-bolts to help fix a creaking sound. You can hear a creak inside the car as you drive... When the frame bends ever so slightly as you drive down the street, I think the U - bolts move a tiny amount and it makes a creaking noise inside the car... I'll get to it this weekend.

Did you make sure one of the mounts is not touching the body? That's more likely than the u bolts being loose enough to move around. If one of the mounts is touching the body, you can either move the sliders back a bit or put small dent underneath where the mount would touch.

I adjusted mine in the same manner that NJShadow mentioned. I had minor rubbing (it sounded like creaking) on the floor pans and took a pry bar and hammer to the floor pan and made very minor indentations to clearance the slider mounts. Then loosened up the U bolts and jumped up and down on them again. Then I think I tightened up the lower nuts first. Haven't had an issue on or off road since then.

I think mine's doing the exact same thing. Thanks for the tip.. It sounds like it's coming from the driver's side slider. I'll take a look at it this weekend when I have some time.

Wow! I just received my WKOR sliders today and am very impressed! These things are beefy and are well built! I opted for the DOM material and the full diamond top-plates. I'll be changing the mounting method just because I've already had something different in mind and can get them to work with my RCI transfer case skid.
John was great to deal with, they were packaged very well, and were right on time. If you're considering these sliders, you won't be disappointed!

Just ordered mine - they are by the best looking sliders out there compared to everyone else.
I guess, they look al right....I just don't like the way they mount.
I'm not a fan of the big u bolts or anything else hanging below the frame. I think I'd have to trim the feet down and weld them on.

Blackoutt, did you have any issues with the rear doors hitting the knockout when they were opened?
I've read somewhere that a few people had that problem, and other slider makers don't have a knock out for that reason.
Do you have a body lift on your runner?
Edit: Just noticed you sig mentions you have a 1" body lift.

I have a 1" body lift but they also made them raised 1" for the body lift (option on their website, one reason I went with them) after I ordered they emailed me asking me another question about angle of the slider. Their standard angle is 15 degrees tilt up for the slider portion, but I opted for 0 degrees - or flat for use as a step. This put my outer most portion (and kickout) lower than the 15 degree configured version so there's TONS of door clearance. Even with 15 degrees I think they would clear just fine. There is some ability to loosen the bolts and jump on the bars or lift them up to adjust for an even gap from the bottom of the body. They may shift/settle slightly during use so best to set them where you want and drive them, readjust as needed if they get moved into the door.

Was there a lot of flex at the slider when you listed the vehicle with a hi lift?
Please provide more feedback as time goes on. I read somewhere on here that someone noticed some noise of the slider U bolt hitting the floor of the cab. Since you have body lift I do not see that happening to you.
