I've built a 3/4 rack for those folks that don't need a full length rack. This one measures 41x57 and is 4 inches in height. I built in the very slight curve once again so it fits like no other rack out there. Bolts to your factory rails with included hardware and weighs around 40lb. Super strong construction, fully notched and welded as usual. Will ship bare steel as pictured. The rack will still need to be shipped via freight but is small enough to ship via greyhound (cheaper but not highly recommended). I can build in custom features like always, just PM with any inquiries.

Also, why is there a gap in the front floor, on the bottom, between where the mesh floor ends and the bottom rail in the front? If I had something smaller up there, and it rolled, it would fall on my roof and scratch it? Why not have the mesh go all the way?

thanks farmerjon! "hopefully" if you have small things that can roll around and or scratch stuff they are inside the truck, but i realize somtimes the truck is just full. The openings are small, 4 inches in the back and about the same in the front given the layback of the top tube. theres still 45 inches of "covered" floor space which should give plenty of options for securing smaller, rollier items. I'll update the site eventually, i hate website stuff lol.

I'm very interested in one of them; what is the estimated shipping cost to 75067?

also, do these include light tabs?
can you offer any options to mount a spare tire and hi-lift jack and shovel to the 3/4 roof rack?
have you ever fabbed and incorporated a rear ladder?

Shipping should be around 80 to Dallas. No light tabs on it since it sits kinda far back but if you'd like some let me know. I can do some for a few bucks. Still havent done a rear ladder but I have done tire carriers. Hi lift mounts I can do to your specs, ie: placement, size, bolted or welded. They would be scratch built.

Sorry but there are no shops in my area that charge reasonable rates for powder coating. Really only one and he's outrageous with his prices. I bedliner'd mine, easy and looks great.

Honestly, I have a rack that sits in my attic 80% of the year. The only time I get it out is cus I'll need to throw all my and others duck hunting gear up there when it's muddy as hell.

Whitson, I've always liked your roof racks. Just would never need one. I have like 2"s to spare in my garage anyways lol.

Whitson, I'm with everybody else on here. Your products look fantastic, solid, and well thought out. I just have no need for an overhead rack since it's always me and my GF, or just me, traveling.

Plus I'm finally starting to design my own plate bumper, so I'd probably just make an amateur stab at a roof rack, if I ever needed one. Still, whenever I see your rack, I can't help but wonder why people would spend so much cash on a Gobi rack. Maybe that's just me though...

Thanks jase, I rarely use mine too, only for kayaking/fishing trips, but it looks cool ALL the time lol. Even my wife wants one, maybe for all her starbucks cups and yoga mats??? Some people are just leary of taking a chance with an independent, its understandable though somewhat frustrating.
