WHO is going to try the headlight swap?

It looks like the headlights may match the hood and fender body lines. So in theory, if you put the 2014 front clip (plastic) on a 2010-2013 the Projector Headlights may very well fit.

Anyone planning on trying this....I know, I know.....who wants to put the 2014 bumper on their truck.... Well if it means OEM projector headlight....it may be worth it.

My guess is someone with an aftermarket bumper and without retro headlights would be first. a lot of money for someone with a 10-13 to drop just for those lights.

I agree, notice I have not tried it..lol

but aftermarket bumper or not the parts list is the same.. even if you have an aftermarket bumper, you will still need some of the plastic off of it for most bumpers. ShrockWorks is making one, and i believe there is no cutting involved.

NOTE: if you buy a Shrockworks front bumper for your 2014 and are willing to let your front skin go for a pretty low price, I may be willing to buy the Headlights, grille, and bumper stays to attempt this MOD.

And you'll probably end up with higher quality projectors.

I am having Light Werkz do a custom retrofit. SO I can either take my lights out of my truck and not have an operational rig for two weeks, OR buy new factory OEM lights and send those in to be retrofitted and once he is done, mail those back and install them....thus leaving me with a set to sell

I thought the 14s had projectors in them already. Or re you doing HIDs?

I want to retro fit HIDs, add a LED strip in place of the chrome in the headlight and add Halos

I think of cosmetic upgrades like that as a lot of financial investment for not a lot of return.

If I can see what's in front of me, I don't really notice what kind of headlamps my truck has.

Once you have proper HIDs, you realize halogens are insufficient
