I really like the hood scoop. Had it on my 2001 supercharged 4Runner, and my Boss 429 Mustang in high school too.

I'm in the "I love it" crowd. Its an aesthetic thing that I just find more aggressive and neat. Most scoops are pointless in the post-carburetor days but still you see them on all manner of vehicles. Like many have said, I'd GLADLY trade my Super White SR5 smooth for a Scooped version.

In the I like it category as well. I think it looks good and haven't had any issues with glare. I'm 6' tall so not sure if it's a height thing but my wife who is 5'9" hasn't complained about it either.

The hood scoop was one of the reasons I traded my 2016 Trail for a Limited. Hated that damn thing. The glare off of it was downright dangerous under certain conditions, even with polarized sunglasses.

Toyota tried to make it functional. But instead of pushing air into the engine compartment, air moving over the scoop created a vacuum and pulled air *out* of the engine compartment.

I think its awesome. Reminds me of the Shaker intake on my old mustang... On second thought, its kind of special in a Helen Keller kind of way. I mean a hood scoop on a station wagon? Kind of silly.

I use mine. It's a great place to set a big plate of food and a beer.

Come to think of it, if it flipped up to reveal two insulated drink holders it would be even better. Or four. My wife would fill them with seashells.

I hate the fake hood scoops. I think they look like crap. I wished the trd off road premium came without a fake hood scoop then I would get one.

Why put something that does nothing. This belongs IN REAL MUSCLE CARS.

If we build it they will buy it mentality from toyo.

That is why I bought the SR5, I dont like leather in an offroad vehicle and I didnt really care for the hood scoop
