well i just passed emissions in my 86 runner. i already had a flowmaster cat back with 2 1/4" pipe. i dont have a header yet so i said what the hell, ditch the cat. so i cut it out and put in some straight pipe. if u have a stock truck just have the pipe expanded to slide over your exhaust and u could clamp it in place. i welded mine. i took a 2 1/4 pipe had one side expanded and the other just left as is. slide over great and sounds awesome. i have to find the other pick of the pipe in but here it is cut out

ill be honsest after driving with it for a few days i relieze that it blows. it is was to loud and the loss of backpressure drives me nuts! so guys i would only suggest running a cat! sorry for even posting this, it was cool the first couple of days and now im going loony. i have a high flow cat that going in as soon as i get my header, so that will be shortly.

umm here is the finished product. i wouldnt recommebd doing this after all unless u love a loud ass truck! i miss my backpressure. but it was fun to do and cost $5 bucks, and fixed the leak i had. its only temporary though
