Yea I really think I'm going to lean in the Bilstein 6112/front and 5160/rear direction. Whoooo hoooo I think I finally have that element picked out, so now I can start looking at the right springs and come up with my plan of attack on how I'm going to pay for it! ha.
Not looking to chop my car up or anything drastic in mods to make huge tires fit, so once I get the lift I'll probably stick with something like 275/70/17's
Been pretty interested in either the Cooper S/T Maxx's or the Nitto Grapplers ---- > I REALLY like the Cooper DISCOVERER STT PRO ;-)

The install is straight forward and there are a ton of youtube videos that explain the process in detail. The best one was one I saw for a Tacoma coil-over install. They are nearly identical to ours so the process is the same... Detatch ABS wires from the UCA and LCA, disconnect front sway bar, separate the ball joint from the UCA so the LCA drops, remove coil-over assembly, replace with new one. Now, you'll need a couple of floor jacks, some stands and open end wrenches, but nothing extreme. Just make sure you don't end up with "extra" parts. LOL!
And I wouldn't worry about the diff drop. I'm at 2.5 inches (give or take) in the front and my CVs are only slightly beyond horizontally flat. I'm actually surprised there was so little movement on them.

If you are looking for a kit, try Total Automotive Las Vegas (they are a sponsor on this forum). They will give you a T4R discount, but you have to call them for it. They will also recommend a spring set for the rear to get you what you want from your lift (no rake vs. some rake).

Yea one of there guys has been chatting with me quite a bit about some different options, they have been SUPER helpful so far! My first "Mod" will still probably be the rock sliders, so I'm not going to jump on the lift right away, but it's nice knowing what I'll probably go with.
Now I gotta find some sliders I like.

The question is: what time is good for everyone? [MENTION=116114]cf_coder[/MENTION] ask to take the more difficult/fun way which would be starting at Table Mesa Rd & I-17. So, depending on where everyone is coming from will help decide where and when we meetup. And when I say this is the 'more difficult way' I just mean its not a maintain dirt highway that can be done in a Corolla like it would be if we were to start the trail at 7 Springs Rd & Bartlett Dam Rd. But this is by no means 'difficult' and can be done any any stock 4WD vehicle where a good part of this should be able to be done in 2WD. There is a stretch of Bloody Basin that is very straight and smooth that if we want, we can spread out a bit and haul balls down it to make up some time if we end up spending too much time playing around on side trails/sight seeing.
My thoughts would be to meet at the Chevron at I-17 & Carefree (Exit 223) at 8am since there is a gas station, Albertsons, McD's, Denny's, Subway and a few other things there for anyone to get those last minute supplies and to top off. It is 13 miles from Carefee Hwy to Table Mesa Rd (Exit 236). Plan is to be on the road to Table Mesa no later than 8:30am If anyone is running late or doesn't want to/need to stop, they can meet us on the East side of Table Mesa Rd & I-17 and if you're running late but still think you can make it, Give me a call, I'll PM everyone interested in coming my number if you don't already have it. Also, we will be on CB channel 6 - seems like channel 4 always has a lot of chatter.

Although this will be a long day, I don't think its necessary to carry extra fuel - I may bring some if I drive the 06 cuz of the gas-guzzling V8. We're looking at around 65 miles or so of trail from the starting at the I-17 & Table Mesa and ending at I-17 & Bloody Basin. Then for anyone interested, I'm still planning on stopping off at Rock Springs Cafe on the way home and depending on the time and how everyone feels, either have some dinner or just enjoy some of their world famous pie.
