Are we going to do something Sunday? I might need to bring the 06 4Runner if I don't get the current round of mod's done by then.
Next Saturday Nov 7th is the 6th annual Four Peaks cleanup from 8-5. We will be providing lunch to everyone who comes out. We do a raffle right after lunch then a 2nd raffle around 4:30 for those who are able to stick around and help with the cleanup after lunch. We have some amazing raffle prizes, t-shirts for all the volunteers, and a few new surprises for this year.

Nah man. If i cant have fun knowing im gonna get back comfortably in on piece thats no fun! Ill take a 4runner over a jeep any day.

How many people go to this? And you sure my firebird can handle that road? Lol

Last year we had over 260 volunteers not counting staff. We picked up 18 TONS of trash. Last year we had so many raffle items, that we ended up giving extra tickets out everyone who came back for the 2nd raffle - no one left empty-handed.
Four Peaks road is a maintained dirt road - I see cars out there all the time. Once you make the right onto Four Peaks Road from Beeline Hwy/87, its about 1/2 up the road to the staging area where you can park your car and either help pick up in that area, or catch a ride with someone else out to one of the 20 sites we have already identified that need serious attention.

What items get raffled off?

Every piece of trash that is picked up is then raffled off :jk:
last year we had items like, gift cards to Desert Rat, 4 Wheel Parts, Applebee's, Costco; all kinds of off road truck swag like recovery gear, CB's, gift certificates for custom fabrication, a couple of Trasharoo's, car wash kits; a lot of camping gear like Napier tents, Kamp Right tent-cots, coolers, folding tables, camping chairs, lanterns; gift cards to some gun clubs for either free range time, firearms training, gun rentals, Diamond Back tickets, Coyotes tickets, Harkins movie passes.... There is a separate kids raffle as well.
I can't even remember what all we had, but we were giving things out all day and night.
This year we are going to have some really huge raffle prizes - you won't want to miss it!

You sure can Rob - every body counts. Kids will have their own raffle that we'll do during the lunchtime raffle. Tonto National Forest does require parents of anyone under 18 sign an additional waiver that we'll have at the registration table. Just some added security for both your family and the National Forest Service.

Why must you tempt me?!? I'm a college student! I dont wanna spend my weekend picking up trash. My off time is supposed to be spent asleep or having fun!

The raffle prizes can't be beat either. No other event out there will have the quantity or quality of prizes we will.
Plus, after the 2nd raffle, around 6, there will be multiple trail runs orgsnized - from easy to extreme and everything in between!
