Why no love for the Bilstein 4600s in the 5th gen forum?

Is it because everyone wants a bit of a lift with the 5100s? That people who don't want to lift are satisfied with the OEM Tokicos? That the 4600s aren't that much better than the Tokicos? Just curious. I don't want to swap out the UCAs until I'm out of warranty so I'm going to wait on the lift. But that doesn't mean I can't look for ways to improve the stock suspension (or just spend money...)

I do believe it's because most folks on here are looking for some lift. Give it a few years, there will be more love as the OEM shocks wear out.

Factory UCA's seem to work fine with 2.5" lift, I've been running them for a year. Now I have a set of Camburg UCA's in the garage but other things have come up to delay install...

Same deal with the 4th Gens, most people go with the 5100's for the mild lift.

I'm leaning toward a Sonoran Steel lift. On his site he indicates you need new UCAs because of KDSS and to get the alignment dialed in. So, that's what I think I know...

It's a little twitchy on the highway but rides well at 2.5". I'm not familiar with their lift setup so if they say you need new ones, probably do. The light racing are really cheap on Amazon... If cost is the primary obstacle on UCA's.

Nothing wrong with 4600's. You can set the 5100's at 0" lift and get the same effect, yet have the ability to raise in the future.

I think they have very similar valving.
