I have a 2003 Runner, 4.7L. Yesterday it would not start. I looked under the hood to find that the negative terminal of the battery was not connected. I reconnected it and tightened the cable. (Long story short, this was a result of a terribad battery installation by my local Firestone garage. I have been going to this garage for seven years without issue. Needless to say, I sent a nasty email to the CEO, and CFO. I found their email address through google and copied the consumerist.com. Maybe I will get published!)
To the point, my wife says that the rear windshield wiper will not function and that the driver side window one-touch roll-down function no longer works. Has anyone had a similar problem? And if so, what was the solution? My next step is going to the stealership, which I desperately hope to avoid.
