Will '95 4runner running boards fit a '96 4runner?

Hi everyone I'm new on here. I have a '96 4runner with a rusted out driver side running board. Found a part out from a '95 4runner. Does anyone know if the '95 running boards with fit on my "96?

I haven't tried, so I can't say definitively. That said, I would be shocked if they just lined up and bolted on. The '96 is a completely redesigned vehicle compared to the '95. Pretty much no interchangable parts that I know of.

Too bad you're not closer, I have 4 running boards in my back yard

That is actually a good question. I have never tried it so I cannot confirm but just from a glace it looks like the center steel part is the same.

I have the running boards off my 96. I can't remember if I have any of the hardware still and one of them got bent (the reason I took them off) but I can check tomorrow which one it was. I'm in nyc btw
