I have a 1000Watt Lightning Audio Amp
and a 15 inch MTX thunder 5500 Subwoofer

Your all set, that one amp wont overdraw your electrical system.

The 4Runner factory equipment is actually pretty strong.

The 4GA wire will be fine, make sure to fuse it.

You also will not be using 1000w rms anyway....your subwoofer is only rated for a third the power that amp is rated for.

So yes, your 4runner can handle all of that.
