Will stock FJ sliders bolt directly onto my 4th Gen

Anyone know if the stock fj sliders from the trail edition fj will bolt onto my 2004 4runner? Also can anyone suggest very affordable sliders that will bolt onto my 4runner with Xreas?

I'm not sure but I'm guessing because the FJ has a shorter wheel base that the factory sliders probably won't work. Don't quote me on that though.

Aftermarket ones will cost you between $200 and $500 depending on brand, weld on vs. bolt on, finished (powder coated) or not, etc.

just to be clear, are you referring to the OEM nerf bars that the FJ is equipped with? Or, are you looking for a full steel rock slider?

I've seen what appeared to be an arb fj slider on a 4th gen and it does not provide adequate protection. Like GIG pointed out, the wheelbase is different and the body will be unprotected at the ends.

I think currently the only bolt on options are Shrockworks, Demello and Rocky-Road Outfitters. The rocky road outfitters dont have the same reputation, you rarely see guys running them and they also attach to the body and frame which is not a good thing. They are however the most inexpensive.
