Hi,
Looking for some advice . I have a 2003 Sport with stock 265/65/17 wheels.....have a chance to pick up a set of mounted 2014 stock 265/70/17 tires and wheels. Has anyone ever mounted 5th Gen tires and wheels on a 4th Gen vehicle? Thanks in advance for your time and reply.

There are a few that have converted to gen 5 rims. Not sure what you might have to do with that size tire as nothing to go on as far as lift/spacers on your ride with the off set with them rims.

I do not think that you will have any problems with the 5th 17" wheels with 265/70/17 tires. You may have some very slight rubbing when the steering wheel is a full lock (as your rig is 11 years old and assuming that you are on original suspension) but it shouldn't be a big deal. I had 265 70 17's on my 2005 SE 17" OEM wheels and had minimal rubbing at full lock. I think you will be in good shape.
