Will this CB fit?

Hey guys so I was looking for a cheap trail CB to use. So I want to mount mine like ripcord did, where he put it where the ashtray/changedrawer was, but I don't know if this CB will fit. Do y'all know?

Yes, that CB will fit. I'm getting ready to do the same mod, but I'm going with the Midland 1001 LX. It's a little bit more money, but it has NOAA weather channels on it. I've never owned a Midland, but its the only one that size that has this feature. To me, it's worth the extra money...

I just bought that last week, waiting to install next weekend when I get back home. It's pretty long but it should fit in the ashtray spot. And yeah, the weather scan feature is what sold me over the cobra for $5 bucks more.
