Will Wet Okole heated seat covers work with Toyota factory switches?

I am actually trying to install the whole stock heated seat system, with the toyota heat pads. I have a 2012 Trail model. Did anyone ever discover if an additional wiring harness is needed to go to the sub controller under each seat, or is there already a plug underneath for the controller?
I have ordered both left and right switches, the wiring harness to change out under the console, the pads needed for both side, and the under seat controllers.

For those of you still wanting to do this I've found this on Amazon:

$74 and it looks like it just wires in as a "universal" setup using the 4Runner switches. Not sure if that is true or not but that's a good deal even if you just want the switches! I am NOT affiliated with the seller but I will be buying that soon for my MR2.

I actually just ordered this exact set from this exact seller. Patiently waiting the 17-28 business days arrival time from China. I'll let you guys know how they turn out - this kit looked a little more quality than a similar one on ebay that also includes factory style switches.

I actually emailed them asking about compatibility and this was their response:

As to this issue, the item can be directly wired into the vehicle.In addition, the item is not Prado specificas long as the vehicle can drill the hole.Hope it can help you.Thank you!"

Thanks for the great write up wvanstone!
I have my seats working now (with the kits funky thumb wheel switches) and will try a hybrid upgrade once I get the factory switches and combine with the existing aftermarket kit's components.
One thing I encountered was that my T4R was semi-wired for the seats, but was missing the IG relay under the hood that provides power for the heated seats circuit that I tapped into. I added a spst relay to your parts list from the Shack!
Also, for others wondering about using hog rings v nylon ties; I wound up using both. I bought a decent set of hogring pliers from Eastwood.com- about 30 bucks plus rings- and they were kinda fun to use! Easier and faster in most cases to cinch the metal bars together with the hog rings for me.

Hello Everyone!! its been a long time since I was on the forum. I work full time, I am going to school at night and run a photography business (William Van Stone Photography) on the weekends.
Anyway I just wanted to give everyone an update on my heated seats. I use them almost everyday and they are still going strong. I was worried about the thermistor wires breaking due to their location in the seat back but so far everything is working great. My driver side seat is warmer (at equal switch settings) than the passenger seat but not enough to for me to reposition the thermistor in the passenger side seat.

I added heated seats to my 2014 SR5. The SW and RV cables didn't seem to be putting out a voltage, so I didn't use them. Instead, I connected the Switch cable on the controller to the 12V put out by the blue and green cables. My issue is that now the parking lights are on when my 4runner is on. If I disconnect the wiring harness, this stops happening. Any recommendations?

Help with 06 T4RNR Limited - Bottom seat heater element/wires missing...
I have an issue, previous owner of my most recent purchase, 06 Limited, had the driver seat re-upholstered and the bottom heating element and wire harness were removed and replaced with new foam. I have the top factory heating wlement and wires, with factory two prong plug, but am missing the bottom element and two prong connector that mates seat back and bottom elements and then runs into a 4 prong connector.
Here is the question, if one has all of the wiring and harness in place, being a 2006 T4RNR limited with heated seats, could I just make my own harness to connect from the bottom seat heater (aftermarket) to the top, and run four individual wires to the connector?
The bottom element, OEM, is like $300 - I wouldn't mind even buying the harness but I am not sure that they sell it seperately?
