winch mounts

jcwhitney was so unhelpful so im comin to the pros here! ight fam, i got a 92 sr5 4runner, i am looking to get a winch, i just need to get a mount for the front on the bumper or somewhere sturdy an a winch will hook up to it, i know nothing about mounts so im lookin for as much help as i can ill try an be as detaily as i can for yall :cowboy:

That's a nice starting point for a make your own winch bumper.

a half inch plate across where your tow hooks mount with a receiver hitch in the middle and a universal receiver hitch type winch mount?

Better call that catalog to be sure but I bet i bolts to your frame.

Should also brace the front of your frame so the bolts dont pull out.

4xI Makes a brace that bolt on for this. Goes in between the bumper and the frame.

Im about to pull the trigger on one of these too. Great bast to make your own bumper from.
