For a long period of time (hours) after a rain or a car wash, whenever I roll down my driver side window it gets completely wet when I roll it back up. This happens on my passenger window too, except just a small part. My driver side window also gets vertical streaks on the inside from rolling down and back up.
My question is, what in the door would be holding moisture for so long? I'm also concerned about internal rusting if there is moisture in the door that long. It's still under warranty for another year so I plan to take it in soon. However I thought I would ask here first for ideas from anyone who has had the door apart before.
My 4R is also having issues with the axle slip joint sticking and the dealership basically refuses to do anything about it unless I pay them. They said the axle lube was part of one of my services which I paid for, but then I'm told they don't have a record of me having that service. It is quite disappointing that a dealership won't even go the extra little bit to service a vehicle for a blatant known issue and just tell me it's normal. My 3rd party, dealer installed remote start doesn't even work correctly. Time to get that looked at for the 4th time too. They can't seem to fix it.. It's 2 way and doesn't signal the fob correctly when starting or stopping.
I have a (Canadian) 2012 4R Trail.
