Windows don't defog very well

Never had as big an issue with any other vehicles related to window fogging as I do with my 4R. Florida = high humidity, my 4R is parked outside, so obviously there's moisture covering it from overnight. This morning it was about 68/70, but I've also noticed this problem sometimes when it rains. Anyway, when I get in the A/C is on with the defog going and the temp set somewhere between cool and medium. My ride to work is no more than 20 minutes or so and throughout the entire ride, the side windows will never clear. It's to the point when I get in traffic I've had to resort to rolling the windows down to change lanes..I'm sure there's a simple explanation, but it's pretty annoying. Thoughts?

Yep. Full hot with the A/C on clears thing up the fastest.

I thought in Florida all you had to do was put your turn signal on. I didn't think you had to check the lane before changing down there.

Cleaning the window also works wonders.

I have noticed that the 4R's HVAC system is pretty weak compared to some other vehicles out there, especially the domestics.

If this is something that has gotten worse over time your cabin filter if plugged will make defogging take longer.

Fog-X (just called anti-fog now apparently) works wonders.

I had a swampy climate in my 4runner after a couple weeks of fishing with 4 guys climbing in and out of the truck with their waders and boots on.

I put my dehumidifier in the back for an afternoon and pulled that moisture out.
Since then, I have a double sock full of large silica crystal cat litter that I keep in the cargo area in one of those little shelves over the wheel wells. Everything has been nice and dry since.
