Thanks. I still want to see if I can support a small business first though. NFab is right down the street from my house, ironically they are less than a mile from Shrockworks.

I just checked out that kit since it looks like a good way to add and LED light bar without an aftermarket roof rack, and $165 is reasonable I guess. Then I looked at the cost of the actual light bars themselves, and my jaw pretty much hit the floor. Is $1,500-$1,700 what most people pay for a 50" LED light bar? I guess my perspective is different since I don't have a lift yet, but I don't think I could ever bring myself to spend the same money on a light bar I will use for a couple hours per year, vs a set of nice external reservoir coilovers. Light bars are definitely functional and look cool, but I assumed a good one was like $600. Reality check haha.
No need to spend that kind of money. Lots of other light bar options out there for 1/3 the price and after seeing one of the members having theirs stolen I am definitely not paying $1500. I would never buy a shitty Ebay light bar for $100 but there are companies popping up everywhere to take Rigids business.

I wouldn't go with a windshield mount bracket - I have a 52" curved windshield mounted bar on my F250 and the glare off the windshield is atrocious. As in, "negating the benefit of the lightbar" atrocious. I'm going to pull it off this weekend and either try putting it on the bumper or selling it and chalking it up to a loss.
I've never had an issue with my 40" Rigid on the 4runner - I think the Baja Rack fairing blocks enough of the beam that it just casts a shadow over the windshield.
That being said, I've heard of guys having the best luck running a rigid with a hyperspot pattern when doing a windshield mount.

Unless you want a giant paper weight, or excessive glare or even worse, get shown up in usable output by a top tier bar that is much smaller. A rigid E series 20" bar will outshine most el cheapo 50" bars.
Never understood the whole above the windshield bar thing unless you adventure alone a lot or are a trail leader.
