Windshield washer tank-pump question

Quick question. Yesterday while removing the washer tank, I broke the top off one of the pumps, :gun4:harness wouldn't release. There are two pumps one that faces the front of the truck and one on the passenger side of tank. Anyone know which supplies the back washer versus the front? For the time being my intention is just to make sure I have front washer, since I don't use the rear.
thanks

from memory i want to say its the one that sits higher up on the tank, and closer to the front of the vehicle.
When i replaced mine though, i replaced the wrong one at first.
so, if it's not that one then it's the other one :)
I probably just shouldn't have responded because I dont trust my memory all that much.
good luck to you.

The one in front is for the front and the one on the side is for the rear. I had to loose my rear washer fluid pump to fit my 35s.

I don't think the connectors are the same for the 2 pumps, otherwise I'd say just swap them. I have my old rear pump, but I don't think that'll help you because you broke the front one right?

If you wanted to jerryrig it, you could cut the wires and switch the connectors, but I think you'd be better off leaving it alone and getting a new pump.

Yep, I broke the front one, I'll check the connectors. Are they tough to remove from the tank?
thanks
