Wiper blades on 4th gen?

Just curious if anybody has had to replace their blades yet on a 4th gen and what brand they used. Mine were chattering really bad today and need to replace, but was just curious what anybody else has used.

I rarely use the wipers -- the Rain-X makes them unnecessary even at low speeds. When we replaced the blades on the Camry, I used Anco.

I'd recommend a set of the double-bladed wipers. You can find them at any Pep Boys, AutoZone, etc for about $20. They work very nicely, though I might warn you that the wipers on the 4Runner were measured as being different sizes: a 22" blade and a 20" one. I just use two 20's. Good luck!!

I'm interested in those mods you listed on your profile. Coud you talk about them a little....I'm not familiar with any of the last three and I'd love to learn about them to see if they're something that might be a nice addition to my runner.

Side armor for avoiding rocks damaging your body panels. Most definitely a must for anyone that does any mild to hardcore offroading. on a side note, it's a grocery cart protector

JE Reel Driveshaft:
the stock driveshaft got bent up while offroading. (stupid me ofcourse). Anyway I had it replaced it with a more beefier aftermarket one It's been resleeved and reinforced so its much better.

I have always found PIAA or Bosch are the best way to go.

Try the new windshield washer fluid with Rain-X in it and you won't need your wipers hardly at all if you are driving +45mph. I can't remember the last time I used mine for anything other than cleaning off bug guts. I have heard that Toyota wiper blades are the way to go for replacments. $5 a set from the stealer.

I have the Rain-X in my washer fluid tank and had even just reapplied Rain-X to the windshield this past weekend. I think because I work out of the house and hardly ever leave when it is raining or going to rain, they just dried up. I just replaced them with some Bosch. They did the trick.

Stupid Question

Aren't wiper blades covered under warranty? I know they were on my Honda vehicles.
