Has anyone done this recently, is there a nice spot that maybe has a blank rubber plug in it that you can poke through or do you Gotta like poke a new hole through that one rubber plug but already has some wires going through it,, I just need toRun a power supply off the battery to something in the back

My 2018 has two. One is located below, and to the right Looking at it from the firewall side) of the ABS brake unit. It's a blind plug with a nipple, about 1/2" diameter. Exits just above the carpet line near the parking brake.
The other is on the passenger side and is a mirror image of the other. I think it exits behind the glove box.
You may be able to squeeze a wire through the main wiring loom grommet that's near the steering column, but it will be a very tight fit.
Make sure you use the proper gauge wire and fuse it near the battery.
Agreed, I have about 10 12 gauge wires plus cat7 wire on passenger side but also have 3 4 gauge wires going through drivers side grommets. both sides easy but passenger side easier.

On the passenger side there is a grommet where the rear wiper fluid line passes through (at least I think that’s what it is). It’s black in the engine compartment but changes to clear tubing in the cabin under passenger kick plate. Anyway, I fed the wires for my fridge through there. Just stretched the hole a little then pulled them through.
