Wiring question: Cooper Bussmann

Hello folks

I have a SsO slimline bumper headed my way with a 25" led, I also have a Engo e9000 standing by to installed in the bumper. I'm thinking I should install the solenoid under the hood. I ordered the wireless remote for the winch, is there any thing I should wire differently with that? I ordered a cooper Bussmann to help with wiring.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram they used for a similar setup? Or pictures of where you mounted your Cooper or solenoid?

I would 100% recommend NOT wiring the winch circuit into the Bussmann due to the current draw. At minimum I'd run the harness and relays totally separate from the Bussmann save for an isolated on/off switch and with a 0-2AWG set of cabling directly to the battery. Even my air compressor is currently wired in separately of the Bussmann due to current draw.

The light bar can be wired up just fine. Depending on your box and wiring setup, the RTMR has 10 different circuits. 5 of the circuits should tie into relays, the other 5 are fused power only. I'd recommend wiring in any higher current items into the relayed circuits, and saving the fused circuits for low draw items such as CB radio). You can also use one of the fused only lines to run power to a relay/switch on a separate circuit (i.e. the winch).

Thanks for the info, you recommend a on/off switch for the winch? If so is there any thing I should look for in the switch (amps?). Thanks for your help.

I think I speak for most here that are interested in assisting in an advisory capacity, but since you offer no photos, drawings or visual support to those of us who are trying to tie it all together, I'll admit my answers may be somewhat vague, nebulous and lacking in clarity! But the first subject may just be a matter of proper system logistics!

I don't know exactly how your cooper sub-panel is laid out, but I wouldn't Hardwire any circuits directly in that box that carries more than a 30 ampere load. I also think that my (AOB, slee-off road, OTRATTW...etc) in-dash switches would be assigned (limited) to 'PILOT DUTY ONLY!'; no load carrying but for relay coil triggers!

Warn makes a power interrupt kit which should work just fine with your winch. This would allow you to use your Cooper Bussman to safely control power to your winch. I have a few photos in my photo album.
 
Now im confused by everyone saying no go on wiring the winch to the bussman. From reading about the product i thought it was capable of handling 80amps with the fuse relay setup? I was planning on running a winch and lights off this thing.

I believe most winches will pull >400amps when used near capacity (amp draw will vary by winch type/model and the load) and have 2ga. wire.......way over the 80amp rating of the Bussman.
 
Blue Sea Systems make a switchable relay driven cuttoff, I have been looking at them but never quite committed to it. My winch is cabled straight to the battery.

The unit I was looking at has 500amp continuous and 700amp spike. It has remote and manual disconnects.
