Ok, here's a wiring question.
I've got the factory tow wiring on the truck.
Wired up my trailer for 12v instead of 24v. This basically was accomplished with a 12v trailer kit. Just gutted the military lights, and fabbed the trailer lights to fit inside.
I've had this trailer for about a month now, and the lights have been on and off since then. They worked GREAT on my M105, so I just transferred the system over to the M116A2. But they're not working so well now.
I noticed today that when I step on the brakes with the turn signal on, my dash and radio lights dim with the blinker.
When I turn the head lights on, the trailer lights shut off, and no longer work. Doesn't matter if I unplug them and plug them back in. Still nothing.
I'm guessing this is something to do with the ground, but really don't want to go through the entire system, though I guess I know I'm going to have to at some point.
I'm guessing that someone on here can verify that it is in fact the ground, and not something else.
