Ha I said the same thing but this thread is having a similar effect on me as well. The pricing vs. $1200-1300+ doesn't hurt either. :tea:

yeah I'm in yalls boat as well, definitely wanting a rack I just have to wait until the priorities get done first, I got the front bumper ordered tried to talk CBI down to make it a bundle purchase and get a rear bumper with tire swing out more affordable but they wouldn't budge much. Purchased Radflo's front coil-overs to hold the weight of what I'll be adding while maintaining the height I've reached.

Now I still need skids underneath and still need the rear bumper with tire carrier before I can even look into a rack lol I do know if this price remains for this rack I'll be purchasing this one for sure.

I was thinking about going with the rattle can... though maybe with something tough like Rustoleum bedliner spray.

My biggest fear is missing areas, especially on the cage "floor" of the carrier... simply from not quite hitting it from every possible angle.

Agreed. I'm going to but the rack on some saw horses and spray top and bottom, side to side. I'll probably use a textured Rustoleum as well.

Just got mine today. Totally custom! I had it made extra wide to carry lumber with no back to make easier access for loading and using the ladder. Dropped it off for powder coating right after a quick test fit! Stoked!

Is that a Gobi ladder? Didn't know you could install that without the Gobi rack. Interesting.....

It just attaches to the hatch, not the rack. So it can be installed with any rack or even no rack if you want.
