Hello i have a 96 4Runner and am looking for a new stereo system. i have all stock limited options and am looking for a nice in dash touch screen system. if anyone has any leads for me it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

yea ive seen them for sale there and there all pretty nice. do you by any chance know how much instalation might be for a system like that?
 
Can't help you with the stereo, but welcome from another Santa Cruz member. Funny thing is I talked to your dad about buying your 4runner ~6 months ago.

A lot of people can install them themselves, but I couldn't imagine it being any more than $50. If you buy from a retailer they most likely will install it for free. Really it should be a plug and play application and use the stock mounting brackets.

I'm pretty sure it was that 4runner. I had posted an ad on craigslist and he responded. We had talked some pricing and stuff, but the wife told him no. You're in Aptos right?

He just saw my want ad for a 4runner and was throwing around the idea of selling it. Your dad is Dave right? I have his email string still around. He said he will talk to his wife and son about selling the 4runner. Well I guess it only got to the wife...

Yea i was never informed of this haha probably because i was driving his truck at the time. well thanks for the info, i never would have known that! im glad he didnt cause i love my runner.

I'm glad he didn't either because I love my runner. I'll keep an eye out for you on the road.
 
Not yet. I have all the parts, but I'm waiting till I can get new tires as well. If you can I would suggest staying away from the spacer lifts. They will cause your springs to go bad quicker. You can piece a lift together for pretty cheap if you don't mind using used parts.

yea thats why i havnt got one yet. im just trying to figure out what the best thing to do next would be, i think im heading towards a new sound system.
