The wind noise from the thin plexi fairing has been driving me crazy lately. I could probably shave some off of the fairing but decided to try to make my own and just replace it all together.
Decided to make it out of wood, treat it, paint it matte black and plasti coat it.
Then remembered I had collect a load of stickers from various travels so decided to throw those on there first and line them up before paint then put them back on after paint and plasti coat over the top of everything to allow bug guts to wash off easier.
I will need some sort of rubber strip for the bottom to protect the roof paint. I searched to try to find what everyone was using and came across some ebay stuff but it did not look thick enough. I want some cushion since the cut is not perfect across the top it will hide where I can't cut/sand a straight line.
