Good to know. I was under the assumption that all 4th gens were Cali spec. regardless of what state it was sold in.

I recall it being an option - much like DRL's were. I'd have to look at my paperwork again to verify.

Edit: it shows up as the first item under Options. FE - 50 State Emissions. No charge.

Old thread......I just replaced my OEM y-pipe with the Magnaflow y-pipe and cat.

Huge difference in throttle response and low end (I have CAI and Gibson exhaust already). Great mod that cost me $166.00 shipped and $100 cash to put on with new gaskets.

Very worth while mod for the money on the 4.7L. Truck did not get any louder, but sounds a little throatier. Its stainless so there's some weight savings as well.

Bringing up an old thread! Let me know where is a good price these days and also, any installation issues that I need to be aware of? I'm thinking of connecting this item to the Gibson cat back exhaust that is in the vehicle already. Then, sometime in the future, I can get going on the DT headers+ cats to mate up to this Magnaflow Y pipe.

280hp!? I wish mine came anywhere close to that? Mine is a 2003 V8 and only came with 235. I hate being broke. And it is the V8 too!
