Hi All,

My growing family has made my beloved 2006 Jeep Liberty CRD a little cramped on camping trips so I'm looking to upgrade to a 4th Gen T4R.

Due to my bank's lending guidelines it's got to be 2007 to 2009 with less than 125,000K on the odometer.

I'm based in Los Angeles, but am willing to travel pretty much anywhere for the right vehicle, as long as it's lived it's life in a non-road salt environment.

I'd be happy with a stock vehicle, as I'm looking forward to doing the build on it based on my experience with the CRD. But if you've got a lightly built vehicle for sale, I'd love to see what you got. Since I'm driving around an urban environment, my max all-in height is about 6'8'', fwiw. Anything over that makes it hard to park around here.

Ideally looking for a silver or white truck--black and burgandy are definitely no gos.

I was looking at that one too. I looked up the Car Fax here at work as seen it was from the east coast, it had good mileage on the vehicle and a really good price. I got a hold of the Fleet Manager and told me the truck went to auction.

Yeah, it definitely was a mess down below--one of the wishbone steering arms was brand new, while the other one was horribly corroded. Some of the nuts were just balls of rust clinging delicately to their bolts. Such a bummer because the interior was spectacular and the backup camera was a nice touch.

Road salt. Ugh.:rip:

I was ready to buy too. I went to go see a 5th Gen where I used to work over at Penske Toyota of Downey it was a Trail Premium even with my discount hard to afford.

I been waiting to see if one shows up here at work Manhattan Beach Toyota, but here at work we get a lot of 3rd Gen trade in's and for me and the fam I would rather benefit from a 4th Gen due to the size of the Cabin.

Are you at Manhattan Beach Toyota? There's a 4Runner there I'm looking at; how is it as far as dealerships go?
