Details on the '87? (Motor, trans, miles, rust?) I have a '98 3rd Gen is let go for under your budget if you're interested. 243K miles. NO RUST. Very well maintained and a few nice upgrades.
I've run it pretty hard, it needs a lot of work. Motor 22-re Jasper rebuild, I had the tranny replaced with a tranny I found in a junkyard, it needs all new brakes all around, miles?? I'll get back to you on that, and of course the back window is stuck up, this is my 3rd 87 and my last, I just don't have the time. I just found this site today. I'm at work and will take pictures when I get home.
