Still looking boys, been in contact with more people, all of which had someone make a ridiculous offer immediately and took the car the day before I was gonna see it in person. EVERY TIME. Still trying to stay way below 200k, and as local as possible, all the recently linked ones are 200k and pretty far.

Frustrating to say the least.

You still looking? I have no idea why this rig is so cheap other then the guy needs to sell. I've never seen a fully built rig in this price range. High miles on the body but newish engine, 5 speed swap, factory rear locker arb front. My wife won't let me gobble it up so I'm passing it off to you. lol

I figured it was someone on here. Thanks for filling in the who. I just looked at his build thread. How? This is where I get to return the favor. If your not using Chrome as your browser, start, Then google "photobucket embed fix". Add that extension to Chrome and you can see all of the missing photo's on anyone's thread that used photobucket. At least for now. It works by redirecting the links for you. It's open source and the dev has a Github up for it.

Is the market really that scarce in SoCal for good 4Runner? I haven't hit the post requirements yet to post a WTB thread, but I have very similar criteria for my next purchase.

Hi PizzaChamp, kind of new, I have a 2000, 4wd, rear factory diff that I built mildly for my daugther turning 16--she wants a car. This was driven by a lady, and it looks like it never saw a dirt road and she visited the Dealership for all service, which is why I bought it.

99 5spd locker leather sports hood is the UNICORN. Found mine with a supercharger and 131k for 5500 4 months ago

I am going to sell my '99 SR5 with modest upgrades soon. Check out my garage if you're interested. Looking to get around $7k. 182k miles. Not a unicorn, but a great SoCal Runner. I live in Ventura county, bought it from a guy in Huntington. Always adult owned.

OME rear + Bilstein
Sway-A-Way adjustable coil over fronts
CA legal smog with CAI, Catback + Flowmaster exhaust
Personally did the timing belt and water pump at 140k
All fluids refreshed at 140k also.
New brakes all around (last year)
Daily driver capable. (I only drive it on the weekends)

Selling two cars so I can get the new Tacoma.

I haven't hit the minimum post limit on my new account. The password reset option on my "hockeyman" account doesn't work so I am again a newb. You have a WTB and I have the WTS.
