Hello:
I'm in the market for a 4th Gen T4R. I've not seen anything overly in support of a 5th gear more than the 4th in 03/04, so really it's whatever I can find at this point.
I'm overseas now, and will be arriving early March and like to make the deal also in early March.
I'll be surfing craigstlist and autotrader. I'd be more willing to purchase from a private seller if they're on here vs/ some average joe on CL. Autotrader the same.

Please shoot me any information you might have.

Little hitch. I'm still in Africa, so I'll be going through my girlfriend and mechanic. Mechanic for structure/engine, and gf for cosmetics lol.

Any thoughts? Only thing on my mind is the timing belt. Seems like the fluids etc have been kept up. Also, interested on how much meat is on the tires.

Make sure to have the XREAS properly checked out, not just a visual check. If you are not planning to swap out already there is a good chance that you will have to in the near future. When they leak, the whole system has to be replaced. If you can do the work yourself then it's not a big deal. If you can't then you will be in for an expensive fix. Good luck!

Thanks for the words. It came back as in optimal condition. I went ahead and bought it.

Now I need to do some research and find out about drive chain. I've been used to belts all my life.

Off to the search bar.
