I recently purchased a 2005 T4R Limited 4.7L V8 for a relatively low price. It needs a big update on its service (nothing wrong mechanically, but just needs to be maintained). It has 112k miles on it, so I will be doing the full timing belt/water pump/thermostat etc. As well as transmission and transfer case service. I plan to seafoam it, change the oil, and I bought the spark plugs and a new K&N air filter which will go in immediately. There are a couple smaller things as well. I purchased it for very cheap and the total that I should be spending on it to get it bullet proof should be an extra $2500.

Anyway, I bought it partly to flip it. So if anybody is interested please let me know. I'm looking to get about $12,500. Otherwise I'd rather keep it. I'd also be willing to sell it for much cheaper before getting the service done. If you are somebody who can do all the service above and save on dealership fees, then you could get a screaming deal. If you want it as is, I'd be willing to sell at $9,750.

Again, I'm torn because I want to keep it. But I don't think I can pass up the opportunity to actually make money on it, and put it toward an older 4Runner!
