Good luck trying to find one for that price with under 120k , I looked for a while and only found 1 for around that price and it had 200k , I settled on a 3rd gen with some extra money for upgrades
Just bought an 03 V8 SR5 4x4 with 118,000 for about $8500 private sale. The deals are out there but you gotta be patient. I looked at about 10 POS 4runners that were priced higher before finding this one. It was owned by a realtor so he kept it really clean and had all the service records. Just be patient and don't settle bc there were some really nasty ones out there and were not priced less.
Wow I guess they are a lot cheaper in states other than NY .
Haha..I've actually found a few around 10.
Congrats...thats a rare find < 120K miles for <$10K, do share and post pictures of the one you bought.
Hi there,
I recently purchased a 2005 T4R Limited 4.7L V8 for a relatively low price. It needs a big update on its service (nothing wrong mechanically, but just needs to be maintained). It has 112k miles on it, so I will be doing the full timing belt/water pump/thermostat etc. As well as transmission and transfer case service. I plan to seafoam it, change the oil, and I bought the spark plugs and a new K&N air filter which will go in immediately. There are a couple smaller things as well. I purchased it for very cheap and the total that I should be spending on it to get it bullet proof should be an extra $2500.
Anyway, I bought it partly to flip it. So if anybody is interested please let me know. I'm looking to get about $12,500. Otherwise I'd rather keep it. I'd also be willing to sell it for much cheaper before getting the service done. If you are somebody who can do all the service above and save on dealership fees, then you could get a screaming deal. If you want it as is, I'd be willing to sell at $9,750.
Again, I'm torn because I want to keep it. But I don't think I can pass up the opportunity to actually make money on it, and put it toward an older 4Runner!
Thanks for hearing me out. I'm located in Reno, NV. It would be pretty easy to pick up from Arizona.
Greetings,
My first thought, with 2 post " if it's to good to be true, it usually is ".
Take a step back and view your post through the eyes of skeptical T4R.org buyer. The more validity provided, i.e. mechanics assessment of condition, confirmable information of the vehicle history, CarFax, many detailed pictures, title condition, 2wd/4wd, odo box, ect ect..... should further support and strengten your sale.
I'm curiously interested.......best regards 8sm
I would start a seperate thread. Most will miss your sale embedded in this thread.
Regards........ 8sm
