Check Craigslist Orange County, San Diego, Imperial Empire, and Los Angeles.
I just purchased exactly what I wanted by constantly searching on CL in the Southern Cal area. Seems like that area has more choices with various mileage.
I highly recommend getting the VIN to run CarFax so you don't get any unwanted surprises and waste a long drive.
I'm from the SF/Bay Area and I just made a weekend trip to pick up my 4Runner down there.
I also cross reference some of the same CL postings that are seen on car gurus and auto trader.

2007 Sport 176k miles, V8, FOX 2.5 front coils with Remote reservoir TC UCA's, rear FJ Fox 2.0 lift, Arb compressor, ARB rear locker. etc etc etc she's my baby!:baby:
was going to list for 15k obo. located in San Diego. been doing a lot of searching and there's not many of these for sale in the US

There was a gray sport 2005 4wd with OME suspension, Nitto Trail Grapplers, Method wheels with 170k miles for $14k in the bay area earlier this week, I should have hopped on it!! It sold quick and he said he would have taken less than 14k :tape: Blew that popsicle stand haha

I'd like to! Its a little more built than I'd like but knowing me I'd modify it eventually anyway haha. Heres my current daily driver :laugh:

A Gen4, 2005 Limited, V8. Exterior color is black with two-tone interior. Exceptionally clean in and out. Unmodified. Bought it from a Mercedes-Benz dealership of Arlington, VA. Believe I'm the second owner. Rust free. Went through a rigorous 100+ point Maryland safety inspection at a Toyota Dealership (passed with flying colors). Comes with original stickers and all manuals. Two sets of keys. Just turned 50k on the odometer. Please DM for additional questions.
