WTB:Performance headers 2.7l

what do mean by not needing one? it doesnt help performance wise??

What I meant is, its not a set on a 4cyl engine, since its only ONE header. V6's have a "Set" since there are two. Just wanted to make sure it was clarified is all.

As for performance, headers don't help the 3RZ as much as people would like to think. The engine breathes quite well stock, so adding headers isn't really a big gain additive. Mostly "seat of the pants" feel, though different peoples experiences will vary. The biggest reason to get rid of the cast manifold is the cracking problem. They crack between #2 and #3 cylinders, and eventually crack all the way through. I have sold header kits to customers who sent me pictures of their manifold broken into 2 pieces! Of course the biggest problem with cracks and breaks that close to the head is risk of burning a valve. Seen that happen with countless engines, and then culprit always seems to be a cracked manifold.
