WTB / WTT 17" TE or SR5 wheels for my 20" LE wheels

I have a 2010'LE that I purchased in Oct 10. I am looking at getting some 17" wheels so that I can put some tires on that are a bit more aggressive than the 20"s. I drive daily on a couple of gravel roads plus I plan to hit the road camping this summer so I want something that I will feel more confident off road.

I would prefer some TE, but would also consider SR5 wheels. I don't know what my 20"s are worth as I have 20k on the current set of tires and I am using the spare as no Bridgestone Duelers are available in my area. Even the Bridgestone dealer said that the system shows 147 on back order (I took a screw to the side wall and no dealer would patch, I know, not safe to do so).

I am in the Fayetteville NC area.

I am shooting in the dark as I am new changing out wheels.

BTW, Harper, I removed my roof rack using the step by step process you laid out back before you did more mods; it worked AWESOME. Thanks

I've got 2010 SR5 wheels and I'm looking for the LE's. I'm in the Kansas City area though so swapping could be tricky. Let me know if you have any ideas/thoughts but I am very interested.

No TE wheels out there? Also what would LE 20" wheels be worth...

What would 2010 20" LE rims and tires be worth? And oh BTW, one of the tires is not good anymore because I took a screw in the edge of the side wall. So basically 4+1(spare) really good condition rims and 3x good tires plus the good spare.

I am looking for TEs but also some really good SR5s, must have some decent tread left as my money manager (aka wife) is not pleased that I want to swap wheels. In a few months I'll look at a basket for the roof, then this winter some lights, then.... Looking at the picture gallery is getting me in trouble, you all have some awesome setups out there.

i got some 2012 sr5 wheels with only 5000 miles on them got it in january, but I'm in tx would love to trade wheels :shrug:

Here are pics of the wheels.

The obvious issues are:
-the screw to the sidewall of the wheel that is off the 4R; tire canter will not patch or boot due not being in the tread,
-the curb rub on one near the valve stem,
-the spare,has been on the vehicle for approximately 15 miles.

I do not apply any Armor All or other tire conditioner so the tires are not "off the showroom floor" black.

Update:
I have taken the 4R up to the local Firestone and had the new spare tire taken off of the spare "yellow" rim and placed onto the rim that had the tire with the screw. So now there are four good tires with one of the tires being the new to the road spare.

The spare "yellow" rim does not currently have any tire on it as Firestone could not legally put a bad tire onto the spare rim.

Bottom line: you will need to get another new or used tire to place onto the spare "yellow" rim.
