Denso O2 sensor, part #234-4162. New w/ the gasket, $40 plus shipping. This is the direct OEM replacement for some of the front or back O2 sensors on the non-cali spec, automatic 3rd-gen 4runners, tacos, and tundras from about 1996-2000, both V6 and L4 engines. It was bolted up briefly but removed and has zero miles and zero runtime on it. Check out the denso aftermarket catalog page for your vehicle to be sure.
Backstory and why it's so cheap: Long time lurker, first time poster but I figure if anyone needed one of these it would be a 4runner enthusiast. I had some emissions codes pop-up and after doing a little research bought this. Come to find out it was the wrong part. I got the old sensor off and saw the pigtail connector keys didn't quite line up with the connector on the vehicle so I started to file down the keys (I know, I know) but thought I'd better recheck the part numbers again before firing up the 4runner. Well come to find out after a little more digging I have a cali-spec emissions 4runner and obviously can't return the part.
I guarantee this against being DOA or I'll give a full refund minus shipping costs. It just irritates me to buy a new $80 part, throw it in a box, and never need to use it again. I figure if someone can save money with this for their vehicle and I can make a little bit back off what I lost it couldn't hurt. PM me if interested.
